LAN #4 – Complete
Ouch! Long time no update. Apologies. Its tough keeping the AI-Con website updated!
G Spot redux was an interesting LAN. Reduced to one day because of con business, we managed to band together on Sunday the 14th for a Noon till Midnight event.
Despite the switch threatening to give up the ghost and some hungover faces, all 8 of us got amongst it.
Switch & internet connectivity issues plagued most of the day, however leeching & gaming was mostly unimpeded. 2.6TB was our peak DC++ share. So much leeching was done our statistics module crashed.
LAN #4 – G-spot redux
General Info:
Our fourth LAN for 2010! This will be a 2 day event, starting on Saturday, Feb 13th at noon, stretching until Sunday night. 2 consecutive days of fun. As we will be back at a private residence, drinking is allowed again, so feel free to get amongst it. The event will be classified R18+ so please leave your sensibilities at home.
We will be operating a DC++ HUB. This will be the only method of leeching available. We’ll be using YnHub and we STRONGLY encourage the use of DC++ 0.75. Please pre-hash your files.

LAN #3 – Complete
A solid 1 day LAN @ Law131, held on Jan 30th, stretching from Noon till Midnight.
Due to yours truly advertising only 48 hours before the event we only managed to pull 7 atendees. Pretty disapointing, but not all together unexpected.
Power boards were forgotten, but once that error had be corrected SWAT4 & Warcraft3 turned out to be the darlings of this event.
Sadly though, our beloved 10/100 switch seems to be dying. Perhaps some skilled technowizardry will save it, but it seems unlikely at this stage. Further more internet was not present, hindering Steam use
