LAN #11 – Immediacy

General Info:

Sorry for the late promo. LAN #11 has now been confirmed for 5th of June!

Once again the LAN will be a 13 hour event, beginning Saturday June 5 at Noon, stretching on until 1AM the following day. No Internet connection will be available, so if your using Steam please switch it to offline mode.

We will once again be following a timetable, however consider it a guide rather than an absolute.

Dedicated server/File server will be running once again so  if you’d like something to be running on the server, please email with a request. Hopefully wireless will be active this time around, which should prove useful for laptop based users.

The new event timetable is the following. Whilst the list is published, things may fall slightly askew. Read the rest of this entry »

Lan #10 – Complete

LAN #10, again held @ LAW131 was a resounding success with plenty of new & old faces joining in! Whilst the attendee base wasn’t as big as last LAN, we were definitely more organised and gaming focused. All in all things went pretty well, managing to avoid the usual screw-ups.

No power or network hitches this time around and the new availability of beverages went down rather well. Sadly Rockstar was supplanted by RedBull because of supply issues.

LAN #10 - Early

LAN #10 - Early

As usual the atmosphere was laid-back with lots of gaming. The schedule which was crafted was more of a … guide but in the end it all came together well. Attendance was about 20 or so people. A perfect storm of birthdays and events robbed us of some of the usual suspects but we still had a great time. Read the rest of this entry »

LAN #9 – Complete

LAN #9 held @ LAW131 was once again our BIGGEST LAN yet! Thanks to you all we are growing from event to event and having even more fun. By and large there were no big screw-ups this event, which is something we can really be proud of.

This was also our first time in LAW131 without Internet and despite the change our network & server was rock solid throughout the entire event. Thanks to a recent investment into power equipment there were plenty of boards, cables and slots for all attendees. - A special shout-out to the boys who came all the way out from Snug.

Mid LAN #9

Definitely a great environment with lots of gaming, leeching and fun! We topped about 28 or so attendees over the course of the event so we’re absolutely stoked about that. Both the PC & Console gamers had an absolute blast. Read the rest of this entry »
