About us
Joined at the hip with Digivisipop, (the devious minds behind AI-Con) we are a collection of gamers from Hobart with a vision to create the best LAN experience in southern Tasmania.
The actual format that has become our mainstay was borne from a New Years LAN in 2010. Given its success, it was decided to attempt to follow through with the event every fortnight.
From those humble garage beginings, AI-CON LAN has grown, thanks to the efforts of the admin team & the many attendees who have supported us event after event.
Our goal is simply to create a friendly and enjoyable environment where people can game, socialise and enjoy themselves, without the need to compete and claw their through to win some prize of dubious value.
At the LAN we encourage the entire room to get involved and play, be it head to head or room vs ‘hoard of bots’, with the ideal of keeping gaming simply and fun.
